Volumes have been written on this matter, and the debates and squabbling about where the "hot" slots are positioned in a casino are still intense – more than sixty yrs after one armed bandits were 1st placed in the casinos.

The traditional rule is that the very best slot machine games were placed just inside the main doorway of the casino; so that persons going by would be able to see actual jackpot winners and be convinced to come inside … play. Our attitude is that this is definitely no longer so.
